TIG + MMA Welder

With over 40 years of experience delivering critical subsea components and systems, our client is recognised for producing highly specialised, high-integrity products for global customers.

The Role

We are currently recruiting a number of experienced Welders with the following skill set:

MMA (essential)

*

TIG route experience highly desirable

Following a successful interview, candidates will be required to complete a weld test unless already. Weld qualifications will be subject to Radiographic Testing (RT) and additional inspection activities.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must:

*

Be time served with NVQ Level 3 in Welding & Fabrication (or equivalent)

*

Have proven experience working from detailed engineering drawings, SOPs and weld procedures

*

Be confident working with a wide range of materials including:

*

Iconel

*

Carbon

*

Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality standards, including:

*

100% Radiographic Testing (RT)

*

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

*

Visual inspection

*

Have a proactive, team-focused attitude

*

Be flexible with overtime to meet customer demands

*

Be willing to upskill in additional machining processes

*

Be open to sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues

As with all engineering roles, responsibilities may evolve in line with business needs.

Working Hours

A variety of shift patterns are available:

Standard Dayshift

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30

Friday: 07:30 – 13:30

Rotating Shifts

Dayshift:

Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:30

Friday: 06:00 – 12:00

Nightshift

Monday – Thursday: 18:00 – 03:30

Permanent nightshift may also be available
