The Role:
Working closely with the Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining all financial records. You’ll be building relationships, solving queries, and ensuring our clients finance systems are world-class.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt Management: Support the monitoring of outstanding debts and ensure prompt payment cycles.
- Customer Liaison: Contact customers regarding overdue invoices with a polite, professional, and solution-oriented approach.
- Credit Assessment: Assist in checking customer credit info and preparing recommendations for credit limits.
- Problem Solving: Liaise with internal depots and sales ledger teams to resolve billing queries quickly.
- Reporting: Help prepare data analysis and summaries regarding debt collection performance.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records in our finance systems and assist with general data entry and filing.
Requirements:
- Communication: Strong customer service skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Technical Skills: Good computer literacy and an aptitude for learning new financial software.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
