Physical Education Teacher

Applebough is working alongside an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in the Warwickshire area to recruit a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher (QTS) for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5), promoting a love of sport, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.

The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and well-structured PE lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and a commitment to raising achievement through dynamic and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured PE lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Teach a broad range of sports and physical activities

* Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

* Maintain strong classroom and behaviour management in practical settings

* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress

* Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs and the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

* Excellent subject and curriculum knowledge in Physical Education

* The ability to deliver high-quality, engaging, and well-structured lessons

* A passion for sport and student wellbeing

* Strong communication and organisational skills
