We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
The Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Interpret and make judgements across a wide range of issues, understanding the complexity of pre‑planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, unplanned events and emergencies.
* Diagnose and repair faults in engineering, electrical and/or plumbing installations, plant and equipment.
* Delivering high standards of workmanship across complex systems and understanding the relationship between mechanical and electrical systems.
* Actively monitor the CAFM system to ensure all tasks are assigned within appropriate timescales and issues are resolved proactively.
* Observe statutory requirements including health and safety, Electricity at Work Regulations, asbestos, legionella and COSHH regulations.
To be successful for this Mechanical Engineer role you must have:
* Experience diagnosing and repairing faults across engineering, electrical and/or plumbing systems.
* NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivariant
* IOSH Working safely
* Completion of a structured training programme in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for a minimum of 3 years.
