    Job description

    Site Engineer – Major Infrastructure Project (HS2)

    We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a high-profile infrastructure project delivering works on HS2. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UK’s most significant rail developments, working alongside an established and highly regarded senior leadership team, including Paul Mulcair.

    The Role
    You will play a key role in the successful delivery of works on site, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance across all engineering activities. This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who is confident working in a fast-paced, large-scale environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Setting out for drainage and associated civils works

    * Carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate records

    * Ensuring works are delivered in line with specifications and tolerances

    * Supporting site management with technical input and problem-solving

    * Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams to maintain progress

    Requirements

    * Proven experience working on HS2 projects (essential)

    * Strong background in drainage works

    * Competent in setting out and quality assurance (QA) processes

    * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

    * CSCS card (relevant level)
