How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Position: Architectural assistant Part 2 

    Location: Tamworth 

    Salary range: £27,00 - £30,000 depending on experience. 

    Our client is looking to appoint a motivated and engaged Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their busy and collaborative Tamworth based studio.

    This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of sectors on interesting, nationally delivered projects, supporting schemes from early concept through to technical design. You’ll play an active role both creatively and technically, while developing your experience towards Part 3 qualification.

    What We’re Looking For

    RIBA Part 2 qualified (or equivalent).

    Strong design sensibility with a solid understanding of UK planning and Building Regulations.

    Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.

    Clear communicator with good presentation skills.

    Organised, detail-focused, and deadline-driven.

    Proactive, positive, and eager to learn.

    Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

    The Role Will Involve

    Supporting design development from concept to detailed design.

    Producing high-quality drawings, visuals, and presentation material.

    Assisting with planning applications, reports, and design statements.

    Contributing to technical drawing packages.

    Attending site visits and assisting with contract administration.

    Coordinating with consultants and external stakeholders.

    Participating in design reviews and client meetings.

    Maintaining organised project and drawing information.
