My client works at a completely different level to your typical pawnbroker. They deal exclusively with high-value, asset-rich clients and lend against everything from fine jewellery and luxury watches to art, cars and rare collectibles.

The real difference? They train their Appraisers to value everything themselves. No sending items off to head office. No restrictions. Just proper, hands-on expertise.

Because of this, they attract some of the strongest talent in the market — including individuals who are willing to step back from management roles to gain this level of exposure, before progressing again.

The Role

You’ll be at the heart of the business — appraising, advising and delivering an exceptional client experience every single time.

This is a highly commercial, client-facing role where you’ll be trusted to work with high-value items and build credibility with a premium customer base.

You’ll be:

* Appraising luxury watches, gold, diamonds and handbags

* Driving retail sales across high-end products

* Managing client relationships both in person and remotely

* Staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity

* Acting as a true brand ambassador within a luxury environment

What they’re looking for

* Strong pawnbroking background

* Genuine hands-on authentication experience - must be able to remove bracelet for watches

* Confident authenticating luxury watches (Rolex, Omega, Breitling etc.)

* Strong knowledge of gold testing (with acids), hallmarks and the 4Cs

* Commercial mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service

* Someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to build a specialist skillset

* Fully flexible Monday - Saturday

* Fluent in English
