The Graduate Design Engineer is a key link between customer, sales, and manufacturing. This position is vital for the business and ensures a client-focused service can be offered, with focus on quality, innovation, throughput and empowerment to create a stable and efficient department.
My client is offering a salary of £26,000 - £32,000 + benefits and further progression available.
* 40hrs, 08:00-16:30 office based
* 32days p/a including bank holidays

Responsibilities of the Graduate Design Engineer
* Provide engineering assistance and expertise to Customer Services and Manufacturing department, as necessary.
* Produce bills of materials as required.
* Visit customers as required to measure-up, design and verify first fits.
* Attend local and global design review meetings as required.
* Provision of general layout, assembly drawings and detail drawings, as necessary.
* Working to deadlines for the design/redesign/update of company manufactured products.
Experience required of the Graduate Design Engineer
* 3D CAD experience (ideally Solidworks).
* Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
