Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive primary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Primary School in Lewisham to support in a Resource Base for children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in a small class for children with additional needs including ASD, Global Delay, ADHD to deliver the curriculum and boost their confidence and skills.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
Either a Level 4 + qualification and/or a degree in Early Childhood studies would be beneficial .
Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Happy with personal care/nappy changing
