Role: Outsourced Senior Manager

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (minimum 30 hours / 4 days considered)

Pay: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Outsourced Senior Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a fast-growing firm providing a full range of accountancy, tax and advisory services, based in Guildford.

This is a senior leadership role where you will provide strategic financial guidance to SMEs and owner-managed businesses, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting business growth and performance.

The Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in an outsourcing function within an accountancy practice
Strong experience working with UK SMEs across various sectors
Commercially astute with the ability to influence financial strategy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience leading and developing teams
Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly

Desirable:

Experience supporting business growth, scale-ups or turnaround situations
Exposure to fundraising, M&A or exit planning
Experience across sectors such as professional services, technology or manufacturing

The Role:

Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to clients
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT and HMRC requirements
Attend client meetings to review financial performance and provide guidance
Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls
Collaborate with internal teams including audit, tax and payroll
Coach and mentor finance teams and outsourced functions
