The Role:
As a Quality Inspector, you will:
Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components
Use a range of gauges including verniers, calipers, and micrometers
Operate CMMs (they specifically have a QCT but if you have Mititoyo, Aberlink or FARO Arm that would be helpful)
Be able to carry out gauge calibration to ISO 9001
Complete inspection documentation accurately and efficiently
Perform NDT including MPI and ultrasonic testing
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will ideally:
Be apprentice-trained or time-served in machining (CNC or manual)
Have strong experience in dimensional inspection using hand-held gauges
Have CMM operating experience
Be confident working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment
What’s on Offer:
Salary: £34-35k per year
Occasional overtime available at 1.5x
Regular days: Monday –Thursday 7:30am–5pm (4 day week)
25 days holiday + bank holidays
