How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Product Manager

    Based in or commutable to Tamworth

    This will include some travel to customer sites but the bulk of the work is in Tamworth

    £50,000 - £60,000 + Car /Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

    Are you a Product Manager from an Engineering background looking to join an ambitious company where you will play an integral role in the ongoing success of the business?

    On offer is an opportunity for a Product Manager to join an innovative company who are passionate about delivering sustainable renewable energy solutions and have huge growth plans ahead.

    If successful you will be joining an SME company with big progression plans. They to aim to produce Biofuels for various agricultural machinery as well as working alongside Anaerobic Digestion facilities across the UK. They currently are expanding to their second office with aim to further continue their growth over the next 5 years.

    The ideal candidate will be a Product Manager with a relevant Technical or Engineering background who understands the full product lifecycle.

    The Role

    Set the product direction. Define and drive the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap across hardware and digital solutions.
    Own the full product lifecycle. Lead products from idea through development, launch, and ongoing improvement.
    Work across all teams and markets. Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customers while staying on top of industry trends and opportunities.
    Turn insight into growth. Use customer feedback and market knowledge to shape products, support sales, and drive business success.The Person

    Proven Product Management experience and confident in owning a full product lifecycle
    Experience in a technical, engineering or Energy sector related field
    Must be happy to travel to customer sites when required - however the bulk of the work will be in the Tamworth office
