How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Customer Experience Manager (Engineering/Technical)

    Based in or commutable to Tamworth

    This will include some travel to customer sites but the bulk of the work is in Tamworth

    £55,000 - £60,000 + Progression Opportunities + Pension + Holiday

    Are you from a Customer Experience or Account Manager background looking to join an ambitious company in a key role where you could progress to leading a team in the future?

    On offer is a varied opportunity where you will play an integral role in the ongoing success through managing all customer relationships ensuring their excellent reputation in the industry grows even further.

    If successful you will be joining an SME company with big progression plans. They to aim to produce Biofuels for various agricultural machinery as well as working alongside Anaerobic Digestion facilities across the UK. They currently are expanding to their second office with aim to further continue their growth over the next 5 years.

    The ideal candidate will be from a Customer Experience or Account Manager background within Engineering, Energy or other related Technical sectors.

    The Role

    Build strong relationships and guide customers from the moment they sign through to installation and beyond, becoming their trusted partner every step of the way.
    Working across teams like sales, engineering, and operations, you'll bring everything together to deliver projects smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard.
    Spot opportunities to improve processes and create a more seamless, enjoyable journey for every customer.
    Keep customers informed and confident by translating technical details into clear, simple communication.
    By listening to customers and resolving issues, you'll directly influence how products and services evolve as the company grows.

    The Person

    Must have a relevant background in Customer Experience, Customer Success, Account Management or similar
    Must have a technical or Engineering background or any other relevant Energy Sector knowledge
    Must be happy to travel to customer sites when required - however the bulk of the work will be in the Tamworth office
