Environmental Advisor

An opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Advisor to support project and site teams in delivering high environmental standards within a regulated infrastructure environment. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, supporting environmental management plans, carrying out site inspections, and promoting best practice to minimise environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day environmental support to project and site teams
Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits and site requirements
Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans and risk assessments
Conduct site inspections, monitoring activities and environmental audits
Promote environmental awareness, sustainability initiatives and best practice across siteRequirements

Proven experience in Environmental role
Degree qualified in relevant discipline.
Experience within Construction, Nuclear, Infrastructure, or similar.Location Whitehaven
Permanent Full Time, 40 hrs
Salary circa £40k + £5k car allowance
