This is an outstanding permanent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering major renewable energy infrastructure schemes, with a strong pipeline of work and clear career progression.

    The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a multi-million-pound onshore wind project, overseeing all phases from pre-construction through to completion. You will lead the site team, manage subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining excellent client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Lead project delivery from tender handover to completion
    • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
    • Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
    • Develop and maintain risk and opportunity registers
    • Chair and attend client and progress meetings throughout the project lifecycle
    • Oversee planning, resourcing, and sequencing of works
    • Work closely with the commercial team to monitor costs and forecast performance
    • Drive a strong health & safety culture across site operations
    • Implement defect prevention strategies and ensure successful project handover

    Requirements

    Essential:
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager within heavy civil engineering
    • Strong background delivering infrastructure or energy-related projects
    • Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, or MEng)
    • Chartered status or working towards CEng/ICEng preferred
    • Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, SMSTS, CSCS)
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

    Desirable:
    • Previous experience delivering renewable energy or onshore wind projects
    • Project Management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, APM, or equivalent)

    The Opportunity
    • Permanent role on a flagship renewable energy project
    • Join a respected contractor with a strong industry reputation
    • Clear career progression within a growing business
    • Competitive salary and benefits package

If you are a driven Project Manager with the relevant qualifications and experience, ready to lead a major renewable energy project and grow with a supportive, ambitious contractor, we would love to hear from you.
