    Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant & Support Worker | Chorley (Ages 4-19)

Are you ready to be the highlight of a child's day? We are currently looking for big-hearted individuals to join our thriving SEN school community in Chorley. Whether you are an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) professional or an unqualified candidate with a passion for care, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.

    The Opportunity

Forget the standard 9-to-5. In this role, you'll be supporting remarkable children and young people aged 4 to 19 with a variety of complex needs. From helping a primary-aged pupil navigate their first steps in a classroom to guiding a young adult toward independent living, your work in our Chorley-based provision is about more than just "minding"-it's about mentoring.

    Who You Are

We don't just hire for qualifications; we hire for resilience, empathy, and energy. You might be a graduate looking for classroom experience, a former care worker seeking better hours, or simply someone who wants a career that actually matters. If you are calm under pressure and have a genuine desire to support pupils with physical and learning disabilities, we will provide all the specialised training you need to succeed.

    Why This Role?

This isn't just a job; it's a career with a purpose. You'll enjoy the stability of term-time hours, a competitive salary of £92.89- £110.89 per day, and the chance to work in a state-of-the-art environment where every small victory is celebrated like a cup final. They offer a clear pathway for progression, helping our unqualified staff move into permanent, specialist roles.

    Join the Chorley Team

If you live in or can easily commute to Chorley and want to be part of an inclusive, life-changing team, we want to hear from you today.
