How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Trainer/Assessor (Full Training Provided)

    This leading national training provider within the building services sector is continuing to grow and expand its Electrical provision. With high-spec training facilities and a strong reputation for supporting staff, they offer funded training, scope expansion opportunities, and clear progression routes alongside a generous benefits package.

    In this role, you will deliver and assess a range of electrical qualifications, supporting candidates throughout their course journey. You will guide, mentor, and assess learners while working closely with internal teams to ensure high standards of delivery, compliance, and customer service.

    This is a brilliant opportunity for an electrician to come off the tools and move into training and assessment, with full support provided to gain any required teaching or assessor qualifications.

    The Role:

    *Full training and qualification support provided

    *Delivering electrical training and assessment across multiple qualifications

    *Supporting learners throughout their course and assessment journey

    *Conducting assessments, examinations, and providing structured feedback

    *Liaising with centre teams to support course delivery and scheduling

    *Maintaining assessment paperwork and compliance standards

    *Preparing and maintaining safe, organised training environments

    *Monday-Friday role with excellent work-life balance

    The Person:

    *Level 3 Electro-technical qualification (or equivalent)

    *City & Guilds 2382 Wiring Regulations (essential)

    *Inspection & Testing qualifications beneficial

    *Confident delivering engaging training sessions

    *Professional, approachable, and learner-focused

    *Willingness to gain teaching / assessor qualifications if not already held

    *Additional electrical, renewables or mechanical scopes beneficial
