Senior Project Manager (Pre Construction)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major nuclear civil infrastructure project based in Whitehaven. This role will take full responsibility for leading the project team and ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives, acting as the primary client representative while maintaining strong governance, commercial control and programme performance.

This position would suit a highly experienced Project Manager with a background delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects within regulated environments, ideally on nuclear sites. It will appeal to someone who is confident leading large project teams, managing complex stakeholder relationships and driving project performance across safety, commercial and delivery objectives.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the project team to ensure successful delivery of project objectives
* Act as the primary client representative, managing relationships with clients, stakeholders and external bodies
* Oversee project commercial performance including budgets, subcontract procurement and contract management
* Manage programme delivery, identifying risks and implementing improvement plans where required
* Promote high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance across the project

In return you'll receive a salary up to £85k plus car allowance (TBC), 25 days holiday, up to 8% company pension contribution and private medical insurance.
