Buttons Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for 2 x Community Support Workers on behalf of one of our client, who are now expanding their services and growing their teams.
Do you believe everyone deserves to live their best, most independent life? Do you have a knack for turning “I can’t” into “watch me”? Then step right up —our client needs you!
Community Support Workers will join our clients full time team on a permanent basis, supporting people with learning disabilities to live, laugh, and thrive.
    What you’ll do:
    * Be the daily dose of kindness, encouragement, and patience that makes someone’s world better.
    * Support people to reach their goals (big or small — from cooking up a storm to conquering karaoke night).
    * Work as part of a supportive team that listens and laughs together.
    * Occasionally sleep on the job (yes, really — we call themsleep-ins – paid at a flat rate).
    What you’ll need:
    * Desirable to have a minimum of Level 2 in Health & Social Care (because you’ve got the skillsets heart). Or hold the Care Certificate. Full training will be given if you have the right ethos to deliver exceptional assistance to those you care for.
    * A full UK driving licence and access to a car— adventures and appointments await!
    * A big heart, a sense of humour, and a can-do attitude.
    * Experience in care or support (official badges welcome, but passion’s the real qualification to be a community support worker).
    * A love for teamwork, community spirit, and cups of tea.
    * An Enhanced Adult and Child DBS check – fully paid for by the client
In return, you’ll get great pay, proper training, and the joy of making a real difference every single day.
So, if you’re ready to trade the ordinary for the extraordinary and become a community support worker— apply today and join our clients team!
    What you will get:
    - Enhanced Rates for Pay for Evenings and Weekends-
    - On the job and ongoing training
    - Promotion from Within
    - Pension
    - Standard Holiday allowances
    - Enhanced Payrates above NMW
    - Pension Salary Sacrifice Scheme
**As per the Asylum and Immigration Act 2006, you must demonstrate eligibility for employment in the UK. Unfortunately, our client cannot provide sponsorship for this role / or employment to those who have visa restrictions for working** You will be required to undertake a full work history check**.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - It is an occupational requirement for the postholder to be female as you will assist with personal care needs, ‘permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010’,
