How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Installation Trainer (Full Training Provided - Come Off the Tools)

    Tamworth

    £34,000 + £6,000 Government Incentive + Teacher Pension 21% + 50 Days Holiday + Golden Hello 5% + Teaching Qualification Fully Funded

    Are you an Electrician with NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and AM2 looking to come off the tools and move into a stable, rewarding career in education?

The college will also fully support you in gaining your teaching qualification, making this a brilliant opportunity for experienced electricians who want to transition into education.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Installation, hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition and AM2, and have a strong desire to come off the tools and move into an education-based role.

    The Role
    * Deliver classroom and workshop-based lessons in Electrical Installation
    * Train and support apprentices and learners up to Level 3
    * Mentor students to develop practical skills, knowledge and industry standards
    * Mark assessments and track learner progress
    * Support curriculum delivery including emerging technologies such as EV charging and renewable systems

    The Person

    * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
    * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
    * AM2 qualification
    * Strong industry experience as a practicing electrician
    * Motivated to move into teaching and develop the next generation of electricians
    * Based within a commutable distance of Tamworth / Cannock
