How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you looking to train people to use potentially lifesaving equipment? Our client is looking for an CT Applications Specialist to join their ranks and help to expand their CT portfolio across the market. Through extensive training and development, you will expand your existing clinical knowledge of CT and become an expert in no time.

    What you’ll be doing

    This role will mould you into an ambassador for our clients’ advanced, state of the art CT portfolio. If there’s anything worth knowing about CT, you will know it!

    Your day to day might look a little like this:

    • Training customers to use specialist equipment in the best ways possible
    • Building strong relationships with customers, making bespoke recommendations based on their individual needs
    • Supporting the sales team to provide excellent clinical and technical support
    • Working alongside Account Managers to deliver strong sales output across your designated region


    A bit about you

    Ideally, you’ll be based in Scotland and be willing to travel within your region when required.

    You’ll be an NHS band 5 to 7 radiographer or equivalent with a solid background in radiography.

    A few other key skills we are looking for:

    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate credibly when in customer-facing positions
    • Previous clinical experience working with CT/PET CT equipment
    • A proactive approach to work, with an open-minded and positive mindset
    • Ability to work in a commercial environment with the potential to influence sales
