Role Overview
Darlington Borough Council is seeking a qualified Electrician (Craft 1+) to carry out electrical work across a range of domestic and commercial properties. The role involves maintenance, installation, and testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical maintenance and installation work.
Perform fire alarm and emergency lighting testing.
Work across a variety of domestic and commercial buildings.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of work completed. Requirements
Qualified Electrician (relevant electrical qualifications required).
Experience working in domestic and commercial environments.
Knowledge of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
