RSS Infrastructure are recruiting experienced PTS Rail Welders with Sentinel welding competencies (MMA 1-5 & FCAW 1-2) to support rail infrastructure projects across the South East.

Working within a Network Rail framework, you will join a highly skilled team delivering rail welding works on the UK rail network. This role offers stable permanent employment, guaranteed hours, and excellent opportunities for career progression within a leading rail infrastructure contractor.

What you’ll do

Carry out Manual Metal Arc (MMA) rail welding on the UK rail infrastructure
Undertake FCAW welding activities in accordance with rail industry standards
Work safely on or near the line following Network Rail safe systems of work
Operate as part of a 2–4 person rail welding team delivering infrastructure works
Maintain compliance with Sentinel competencies and rail safety requirements
Use rail cutting and preparation equipment, including Robel 13:49 rail saw, where requiredWhat you need

Essential

Sentinel Personal Track Safety (PTS)
Valid Sentinel welding competencies: MMA 1-5
Valid Sentinel welding competencies: FCAW 1-2
Experience working on UK rail infrastructure
Experience working within Network Rail frameworks
Full driving licenceDesirable

Experience operating Robel 13:49 rail saw
