They are now seeking an exceptional Head of Business to lead a successful KS4-KS5 department and drive excellent outcomes within a high‑performing, ambitious environment.
As Head of Business, you will lead a team of experienced teachers, shape an engaging curriculum, and ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the department. You will use data intelligently to drive progress, support whole‑school improvement, and contribute to a positive, aspirational culture.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading Business across KS4 and KS5, working closely with senior leaders.
* Driving high-quality teaching, curriculum planning, and assessment.
* Supporting and developing a strong team of Business teachers.
* Ensuring excellent pupil progress through effective use of data.
* Creating a nurturing, disciplined, and ambitious learning environment.
* Contributing to wider academy culture, safeguarding, and professional development.
Person requirements:
* Degree in Business and UK teaching qualification.
* Proven track record as an outstanding teacher.
* Experience teaching GCSE Business and Level 3 BTEC.
* Strong leadership qualities, high expectations, and a commitment to pupil success.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
