About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery

Interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
*
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to mechanical systems
*
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability
*
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively
*
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures
*
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
*
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
*
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
*
Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or fitting
*
Strong commitment to health and safety practices
