Work Pattern: Monday – Friday start times vary between 12:00 – 16:00

RATES: PAYE with accrued holidays
- Days: £16.68 Per hour
- Afternoons: £16.68 per hour PLUS a shift allowance of £6.69 PAID PER SHIFT
- Saturdays: £18.04 per hour
- Sundays £20.07 per hour
- Overtime payable after 10.35 hours daily - £20.80 per hour

HG Recruitment are recruiting CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER in partnership with SCREWFIX. Professional Class 1 drivers are required to APPLY NOW for their site in STAFFORD
DUTIES:
* Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
* Securing the load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
* Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
* HGV Class 1 drivers must carry out multi-drop deliveries to stores within the delivery window in a safe manner.
* Flexibility is key as you will be required to help other Screwfix sites with store deliveries and trunking where necessary using Cages, trollies and stillages
* Taking collections of empty cages/trollies back to depot
* Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
* Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
* Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
* Possess an Enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
* Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
* Start times are between 12:00 – 16:00 only

Requirements:
* HGV Class 1 Cat C+E licence – minimum 2 years
* Digi Tacho & CPC cards
* Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements
* Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)
* Good national geographical awareness
* Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
* Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
* Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first class customer service
* Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
