How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Customer Service Advisor

    Redditch, Worcestershire

    Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

    Do you care about getting things right for customers — especially when things don’t go to plan?

    We’re looking for a Customer Service Advisor who takes real pride in guiding customers through their journey, owning issues end-to-end, and making sure people feel listened to, informed, and supported.

    This role sits at the heart of our clients business. From installation through to completion, you’ll be the main point of contact, keeping customers updated, working closely with installers and project managers, and seeing every case through to resolution.

    What you’ll be doing day to day

    * Acting as the customer’s main point of contact during their installation

    * Making regular outbound calls to customers and installers to check progress and tackle issues early

    * Managing complaints and problems through to resolution with empathy and ownership

    * Liaising with project managers and internal teams to keep everything moving

    * Tracking installations and customer journeys accurately on the CRM system

    * Updating systems, trackers, and reports to ensure full visibility of progress

    * Collecting outstanding balances once work is completed

    * Working towards individual and team KPIs while maintaining a high standard of service

    * Supporting teammates and providing cover when needed to keep service levels high

    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    * Ability to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure

    * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
