Senior Quantity Surveyor – Rail/Building – Solihull - up to £72k + Package

Are you looking for an opportunity to oversee a couple of long term frameworks within the rail environment?

This role provides the perfect route to entry for someone wanting to get into the rail sector as this is effectively building and M&E reactive maintenance projects. Schemes could consist of any repairs or maintenance works to offices, stations and depots utilising an NEC4 Bespoke Facilities Management Contract.

Due to retirement, a position is becoming available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee a team of 4 commercial staff and 3 frameworks with a combined turnover of £6m/£7m.

Key duties will include ensuring application deadlines are met, reviewing of subcontract orders, focussing on reducing work in progress and dealing with the client. You will also have responsibility for managing the commercial team and helping them through peaks and troughs of workload.

Logistically, this provides you with long term local work in an office/hybrid working environment with a blue chip contractor.
