    Quality Inspection Engineer

My client are seeking an experienced Mechanical Quality Inspection Engineer to take a lead role in the Quality department. This is a hands-on position focused on the inspection and quality assurance of precision-engineered fuel system components. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day activities of the Quality office, ensure compliance with inspection standards, and work closely with both suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues.

This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements in product quality and contribute to innovative R&D and production projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    *

Supervise and coordinate daily operations within the Quality department, including first-line management of inspection staff.

    *

Carry out dimensional inspection of incoming components using manual and digital measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM, gauges).

    *

Identify, document, and investigate non-conforming parts. Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and work directly with suppliers to implement corrective actions.

    *

Compile detailed ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) for new products, suppliers, or components produced with modified tooling.

    *

Collaborate with R&D on product development projects to ensure quality considerations are integrated into early design stages.

    *

Support Production by resolving component quality issues and providing technical input.

    *

Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure traceability of measurement results.
