THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Acrylic letter/sign maker to join our client in Gateshead. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-quality, bespoke signage projects for a wide range of clients.
Our client are a supplier of manufacturing solutions and distribute all over Europe. Now is a fantastic time to join a growing company who is receiving large scale investment.

THE ROLE
- Fabricate and assemble built-up acrylic letters and signage to a high standard
- Interpret technical drawings and design specifications accurately
- Use hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish acrylic components
- Bond, polish, and finish materials to achieve a professional result
- Work collaboratively with designers and production staff to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship are required
- Carry out Finishing techniques such as polishing and edge finishing
THE PERSON
- Proven experience forming/ shaping acrylic letters and shapes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience using relevant tools and machinery
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in signage production or a similar manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of LED integration within built-up letters
- Experience in the use of CNC routing/cutting
- Experience in the use of Signpal/V-Carve
