Location: Broughton (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Months (Likely Extension)
Pay Rate: £39.04 per hour Umbrella / £29.18 per hour PAYE
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Overview
carbon60 are working with their aerospace client in recruiting for an excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Project Management Business Partner to support major CAPEX, building and construction projects from initial concept through to delivery and final handover. This role requires strong project management capability, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead multi‑functional project teams within a complex engineering/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Lead in delivering CAPEX / building & construction projects.
- Establish and maintain project governance in line with internal PM frameworks.
- Lead and coordinate multi‑functional project teams, including external contractors and professional services.
- Manage project reporting, stakeholder engagement and communication across all levels.
- Support budget management, scheduling, risk governance and mitigation planning.
- Oversee progress of work packages, ensuring safety, compliance and technical standards are met.
- Prepare for milestone reviews and contribute to CAPEX business case processes.
- Produce high‑quality project documentation, reports and analysis.
- Apply appropriate project management tools and methods (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Google Suite).
Skills & Experience
- Strong project management background, ideally in building, construction, CAPEX or complex engineering projects.
- Ability to lead, motivate and manage cross‑functional teams.
- Broad knowledge of project governance, risk management and delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in construction or capital investment projects is highly desirable.
- Capable of producing professional documentation, technical analysis and reports.
