Are you a strategic procurement expert with a passion for supporting high-stakes defence projects? We’re seeking a dynamic Subcontract Bids Manager with UK Security Clearance to lead and manage critical subcontract activities that drive business growth and competitive advantage.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping the success of major bids and campaigns, leveraging your expertise to build strong supplier relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and deliver tangible value across the supply chain.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in business-winning procurement and subcontract management within the defence or electronics sector
- Significant negotiation and contract drafting expertise
- Strong understanding of complex technical IT programs, software development, cyber security, and managed services
- Experience managing large (£50M+) subcontracts and international supply chains
- Excellent project management, commercial acumen, and risk management capabilities
Other Requirements:
- Active UK SC Security Clearance
- Willingness to travel to Christchurch, London, and Guildford as required
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder relationships in a high-pressure environment
