Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting a motivated and committed Primary Student Teacher to undertake supply work in Doncaster primary schools during the Summer Term 2026. This is an ideal opportunity for trainee teachers who are keen to gain further classroom experience, broaden their skillset and work in a range of supportive school environments before securing a permanent teaching position.

Working on a supply basis will allow you to develop confidence in the classroom, experience different year groups and teaching styles, and build professional relationships with local schools across Doncaster.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons and support pupil learning
Adapt to different classroom settings and year groups
Uphold positive behaviour management strategies
Support pupils to achieve their learning objectives
Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Person Specification

Currently studying towards a Primary teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
Confident and professional approach to classroom teaching
Strong communication and organisational skills
Flexible, reliable and proactive attitude
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
Eligible to work in the UKThis role offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical teaching experience while enjoying flexibility in your working schedule.
