About the Role
PK Education are working with a number of secondary schools in Rotherham who are seeking confident and motivated Unqualified Teachers to support across a range of subjects. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with strong classroom experience who are looking to take the next step into teaching.
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning. This role is ideal for those considering a future career in teaching and looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies and maintaining a positive learning environment. Supporting students to stay on task and complete work set by teaching staff. Building strong relationships with pupils and staff. Providing feedback to the school on student progress and behaviour.
What We’re Looking For
A degree or relevant experience working with young people. Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A proactive and adaptable approach. A genuine interest in education and supporting young people. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
