Role Overview:
As a Real Estate Partner, you will take responsibility for leading and expanding the real estate practice. You’ll be advising high-profile clients across a range of sectors on business-critical and high-value matters.
You will work closely with the firm’s leadership to shape the future of the practice, managing key client relationships, overseeing complex transactions, and mentoring junior lawyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
- Provide strategic legal advice to a diverse client base, including developers, investors, financial institutions, and corporate occupiers.
- Collaborate with other practice areas, such as corporate, banking, and litigation, to provide clients with comprehensive legal solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the overall growth and strategic direction of the firm’s real estate department.
Key Requirements:
- You have a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in real estate law, with a proven track record of leading and managing high-value transactions.
- You possess experience in building and maintaining client relationships, with a strong network within the real estate sector.
- You are commercially minded with the ability to identify and capitalise on business development opportunities.
- You demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
