    About the Role

Grand Circle Corporation is a global leader in international travel, adventure, and discovery for Americans aged 50+. With headquarters in Boston, MA and more than 45 offices worldwide, our teams around the globe work together to deliver unforgettable experiences through our award‑winning brands: Grand Circle Cruise Line, Overseas Adventure Travel, and Grand Circle Travel.

We are looking for a People & Culture Business Partner – Global Regions to join our international People & Culture team. Based in Glasgow, this role partners closely with senior leaders and managers across multiple regions across Europe and Asia, providing strategic and practical people support in a complex, multicultural, and geographically distributed environment.

This is an individual contributor role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working at both strategic and operational levels. You will help leaders build strong, engaged teams, navigate change, and ensure a consistent, positive employee experience - while respecting local cultures, labour markets, and legal requirements.

    What You’ll Do

    Strategic People Partnership

    • Act as a trusted advisor to regional and global leaders on people‑related topics, including organizational design, workforce planning, and team effectiveness.
    • Translate global People & Culture strategies into practical, locally relevant solutions across different countries and regions.
    • Support leaders through organizational change, growth initiatives, restructures, and transformation efforts.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of people practices across our global regions.

    Talent & Performance Management

    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support recruitment planning and decision‑making across regions.
    • Lead or support succession planning, talent reviews, and development planning for key roles.
    • Coach managers on performance management, feedback, career development, and leadership capability.
    • Promote consistent, fair, and high‑quality people management practices globally.

    Employee Relations & Engagement

    • Serve as the primary People & Culture contact for employee relations matters within supported regions.
    • Advise managers on performance issues, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliant and balanced outcomes.
    • Support employee engagement, culture, and change initiatives across multicultural and remote teams.
    • Champion an inclusive, respectful, and high‑performance working environment.

    Policies, Compliance & Reward

    • Implement and embed global People & Culture policies and programs at regional level.
    • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and employment practices, working closely with Legal and global P&C colleagues.
    • Provide guidance to leaders on compensation, benefits, and reward principles in line with company frameworks and local market norms.

    Insights & Development

    • Use people data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to engagement, retention, and organizational health.
    • Share clear, practical recommendations with leaders and stakeholders.
    • Partner with Learning & Development to identify skills gaps and support leadership and professional development initiatives.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g. SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, CIPD) is an advantage.
    • 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
    • Exposure to international teams, ideally in a matrixed or international organization.
    • Strong working knowledge of European labour law; experience across multiple countries or jurisdictions is highly desirable.
    • Confidence partnering with senior leaders and working independently on complex people matters.
    • Excellent English communication skills; additional European languages are a plus.
    • Based in Glasgow, UK.

    Key Skills & Attributes

    • Strong relationship‑building, influencing, and consulting skills.
    • Clear, practical communication style and the ability to coach leaders effectively.
    • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
    • High cultural awareness and sensitivity when working across regions.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
    • A genuine commitment to inclusion, fairness, and employee well‑being.

    What We Offer:

    • Competitive salary package
    • 1 year fix term contract with possibility of extension
    • Vacation days + 3 additional Personal Days for emergencies provided by the company (approval at the company discretion)
    • Incentive Bonus based on targeted results
    • Personal and Professional Growth – Available on request
    • Health check up reimbursement with annual max cap
    • Milestone Bonus + Travel certificate for every next 5th anniversary of employment at GCC
    • Associate Deals – GC Tour packages available to associates @ discounted price
    • Referral Bonus
    • Baby gifts

    Why Join Us?

At Grand Circle, you’ll be part of a purpose‑driven, international organization where people and culture truly matter. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Make a meaningful impact on the employee experience across global regions
    • Work closely with senior leaders in an international, mission‑led business
