    Chartered Rural Surveyor - Valuation & Agricultural Property

    Location: Ashford, Kent

    Contract Type: Permanent


    Our client is a well-established multi-disciplinary surveying practice with a strong reputation across the South East. They're seeking an experienced Chartered Rural Surveyor to drive growth within their valuation team and build lasting client relationships across rural and agricultural property.


    Position Overview

    You'll lead rural property valuations and provide specialist advice on compulsory purchase claims, environmental schemes and grant applications. This role offers exposure to farm and land transactions, planning consultancy collaboration, and involvement with a major regional agricultural market.


    Responsibilities

    • Complete detailed rural and agricultural property valuation reports
    • Advise clients on compulsory purchase and compensation claims
    • Guide clients through environmental and grant scheme applications
    • Build and maintain relationships with rural professionals and clients
    • Collaborate with planning and development consultancy teams
    • Support farm and land sale and purchase transactions


    Requirements

    • MRCIS qualification (RICS Register valuer status preferred)
    • Proven experience advising on rural property matters
    • Strong client relationship and communication skills
    • Full clean UK driving licence and own vehicle access
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
