Specification Sales Manager – Scotland
£50,000–£55,000 Basic + £15,000 OTE (Paid Monthly) + Company Car / Allowance

This is a pure design-stage specification role covering the whole of Scotland.
The territory has been under-served locally but is supported by highly proactive contractor and merchant sales teams that consistently drive results.

The Role
You will take full responsibility for influencing architects and consultants at concept and technical design stage.
You will:
- Deliver CPDs across key Scottish practices
- Influence projects through specification stage
- Build and manage a visible, structured pipeline
- Create design-led demand that downstream sales teams actively convert
You will work in tandem with established contractor and merchant teams who are known for execution, ensuring that specification work translates into delivered sales.
- This is upstream, influence-led selling.
- Not reactive contractor management.
- Not merchant account chasing.
- Not a hybrid field brief.
- This is focused specification ownership supported by a strong commercial infrastructure.
About You
You are already operating in specification sales.
You understand:
- Long-cycle project influence
- Technical design conversations
- Relationship-led specification development
- Structured territory planning and accountability
You are confident delivering CPDs, commercially sharp and comfortable commanding credibility within practices.
You want ownership, visibility and the backing of teams who convert the work you generate.
The Package
- £50,000–£55,000 basic salary
- £15,000 OTE paid monthly
