About the Role: A career-defining role for a commercially minded Rural Surveyor eager to leave their mark in the sector. We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Chartered Rural Surveyor to join our client's well-established rural consultancy team operating across the East Central and South East regions of Scotland. This is an outstanding opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of rural properties, delivering high-quality valuation and strategic advice to private clients, estates and agricultural businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse range of private clients, managing their portfolio of land, properties, and assets
- Provide expert consultancy advice and recommendations, including access rights, tenancy agreements, and reviews
- Conduct detailed and accurate red book valuations for a range of purposes
- Develop and nurture trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Actively engage with the local rural community, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the wider team to achieve business goals
- Stay abreast of rural planning regulations, market trends, and government policies, advising clients accordingly
Qualifications:
- Essential: MRICS and/or FAAV qualified
