My client is seeking an experienced and skilled Product Designer to join their pioneering Product department. They are on a mission to disrupt their market with cutting-edge tech and rich datasets. This role focuses on creating user-centric designs for digital products, balancing high-fidelity UI/UX with business goals and brand standards.
The Product Designer will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from research and ideation to testing and final collaboration with developers.
Location: Guildford
Salary: £65,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Research & Analysis: Conduct user and market research while analysing competitor products and customer needs.
- Ideation & Concepting: Generate new product ideas, develop initial sketches, and outline design concepts.
- Design & Prototyping: Create user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
- UX/UI Development: Design intuitive user journeys and develop visual elements, including style guides and design systems.
- Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to refine designs based on user activity and feedback.
Ideal Candidate:
- Has 3-5 years of experience working in a product design role.
- Possesses a strong understanding of UX/UI principles and proficiency in design/prototyping tools.
- Has a keen eye for detail (shape, colour) and excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and an "entrepreneur’s mindset" to improve their digital offering.
