JOB TITLE: Groundworks Site Supervisor
LOCATION: Wembley
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Groundworks sub-contractor delivering a range of civils and groundworks packages across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth and secured workstreams, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to support delivery teams on active sites.
This is a hands-on supervisory role suited to someone with a strong groundworks background who is confident leading teams, maintaining site standards and ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising groundworkers and gangs on site ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
- Conducting daily work plan briefings and coordinating site activities
- Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings
- Managing and enforcing health & safety procedures on site
- Implementing and monitoring RAMS and safe systems of work
- Coordinating labour, plant and materials with site management
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specification
- Maintaining clear communication with project managers and site teams
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising groundworks or civils packages
- Strong understanding of groundworks operations and sequencing
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- CSCS Gold Card (minimum)
- Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance
- Ability to manage teams, resolve issues and maintain site standards
