Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a great business to support them with the recruitment of a Property Lawyer on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract Basis. The role will be Part Time - 4 days per week based in Doncaster. The role is hybrid with 2-3 days on site.
You will play a key role in supporting the Group Property Team across the UK and Ireland. They are looking for someone to oversee all property legal transactions across retail and distribution.
Main Duties will include:
- Handle a wide range of property legal work across our UK and Ireland portfolio, including:
- Acquisitions: Negotiating and completing conditional Agreements for Lease, Leases, and Licences to Alter. Managing title reviews, searches, enquiries, due diligence, and preparing reports and summaries.
- Disposals: Drafting and agreeing Deeds of Surrender, serving break notices, and providing advice on the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
- Lease Renewals & Re-gears: Reviewing and negotiating heads of terms, and preparing Deeds of Variation, Reversionary Leases, and related documents.
- SDLT & Land Registry: Managing all necessary submissions and application efficiently and accurately.
- General Advisory Work: Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice and support on all aspects of property transactions and day-to-day property queries.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Practical experience in property transactions.
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Proven experience managing a broad range of property legal matters.
- Education: LLB degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC).
- Qualified Solicitor with strong expertise in property law.
