As Spa Specialist at Haven Hotel Rotterdam, Curio Collection by Hilton, you are responsible for the complete spa & wellness experience within our prestigious five-star hotel. You ensure that every guest encounter reflects the luxury, comfort and service level of the Curio Collection brand. You lead the daily spa operations, perform treatments, develop the wellness offering, and contribute directly to guest satisfaction and commercial success. You are also the driving force behind building and guiding a small team of external therapists as the spa continues to grow.

Job Description
As Spa Specialist, you oversee all spa operations, treatments and guest experiences within our luxury wellness environment at the Rotterdam Leuvehaven. You perform high-quality treatments, maintain spa facilities and ensure a seamless, relaxing and memorable guest journey. You report to the Front Office Manager and work closely with the Front Office team to manage the spa agenda, reservations and guest communication.
Responsibilities
· Perform a range of spa and beauty treatments according to Hilton standards;
· Manage the spa agenda, ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate reservations and strong coordination with the Front Office;
· Oversee the cleanliness, atmosphere and maintenance of all spa areas and facilities;
· Build, guide and train a team of external therapists (4–5), ensuring quality and consistency in guest experience;
· Engage external treatment partners when needed;
· Promote the spa within the hotel and through local collaborations to increase visibility and occupancy;
· Manage stock levels, treatment products and equipment;
· Ensure compliance with all health, safety and hygiene regulations.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a passionate Spa Specialist who combines hospitality, professionalism and a deep love for wellness. You are an experienced therapist with strong attention to detail, capable of ensuring a luxurious and relaxing environment for every guest. You work independently, take ownership of the spa operations and enjoy building and guiding a small team.
You bring:
· Experience as Spa Specialist or Senior Spa Therapist;
· Relevant certifications for performing treatments;
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends;
· Strong organisational and coordination skills;
· Commercial awareness and a focus on guest satisfaction;
· Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch as an advantage;
· A genuine passion for wellness, hospitality and luxury service.
