For an innovative engineering organization active in the automotive and industrial mobility sector, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to strengthen the engineering team working on advanced electrical driveline and energy systems.
The company develops and builds electrical and electro-mechanical systems for vehicle manufacturers, machine builders, and system integrators. The focus is on automotive engineering, electrification, power electronics, and high-voltage systems.
The working environment is technical, hands-on, and collaborative, with a strong focus on engineering quality, prototyping, and practical problem-solving.
What will you do?
In this role, you will work across the full engineering cycle: from concept and design to prototype building, testing, and commissioning.
You will be actively involved in both engineering and workshop activities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing electrical schematics and systems
- Performing calculations and sizing of electrical and power electronic systems
- Integrating electrical systems with mechanical and mechatronic components
- Selecting components and supporting supplier selection
- Supporting and participating in prototype assembly, testing, and validation
- Working with high-voltage automotive systems and test environments
- Supporting technicians during assembly and commissioning
- Working closely with engineers, project leaders, and technicians
This is a role where design and hands-on engineering come together in real hardware development.
Who are you?
You are a hands-on Electrical Engineer with a strong interest in automotive engineering, electronics, and power systems. You enjoy not only designing systems, but also building and testing them in real-life environments.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s (HBO) or MBO Level 4 degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive or similar
- Experience in designing and building electrical systems
- Ability to read and create electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience with control systems and automation is an advantage
- Strong affinity with automotive engineering
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing
- Experience or willingness to work with high-voltage systems
- Driver’s license B (C is a plus)
- Flexible and willing to occasionally work overtime when needed

- Salary: up to €4,700 gross per month (based on 40 hours and experience)
