An innovative and internationally active engineering company specializing in mechanical systems is looking for a Junior Technical Drafter / Mechanical Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will work on custom pipe constructions within complex drive systems and motor configurations—always starting with calculations before moving into 3D design.
Your responsibilities
- Perform technical calculations for pipe and steel constructions, and convert these into parametric 3D models.
- Work with HiCAD (or be eager to learn it) to develop custom mechanical designs.
- Modify and adapt constructions by manipulating, resizing, and optimizing geometries.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and international clients to deliver tailor-made solutions.
- Coordinate with external production partners in Turkey, responsible for manufacturing.
- Depending on your ambition, there are growth opportunities toward project management, international site visits, or a senior technical office role.
Your profile
- A completed BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Affinity with or interest in machine building, mechanical design, and drive systems (e.g., hydraulic motors).
- Hands-on, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
- Capable of performing technical calculations and applying them within a 3D CAD environment.
- Proficient in English (minimum level B1) and well-integrated into Dutch working culture.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
