Simply Green is a growing international wholesale distributor of cannabis and smoking accessories, supplying retailers and distributors across Europe.
We're a team of around 25 people, based in Almere and part of the 18 Ventures Group.
In May 2026 we moved the entire business onto NetSuite: purchasing, warehouse, sales, e-commerce and finance all run through one system of record for the first time. The go-live is behind us. The job now is to run it well, keep improving it, and build the operational processes that let us scale.
Tasks
Why this role exists
We're looking for someone to run the operational engine of our business day to day and take ownership of the ERP system that supports it.
Our current Operations Manager is moving into a Product Manager role, creating an opportunity for someone who combines operational leadership with genuine ERP administration expertise.
You'll lead our Customer Service team, work closely with the Warehouse Manager and coordinate across departments to keep everything moving.
One moment, you might be resolving a fulfilment issue. The next, supporting a colleague with NetSuite or identifying a process that could work better.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership and the opportunity to shape how we operate.
Requirements
What you'll do
Lead daily operations
- Manage the Customer Service team, supporting customers across six European markets.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager to set priorities, remove bottlenecks and resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance and other teams to ensure orders flow smoothly from webshop or sales representative to warehouse to customer.
- Keep daily operations on track, ensuring orders are processed, customer queries are resolved and shipping deadlines are met.
Own NetSuite administration
- Manage user roles, permissions, workflows, forms, saved searches and templates.
- Provide first-line system support and manage incoming issues through a tracked backlog.
- Resolve issues internally where possible and coordinate more complex matters with our external NetSuite partner and in-house developer.
- Maintain accurate item, customer, supplier and inventory data, working closely with the Stock Controller.
- Oversee the operational side of our WooCommerce–NetSuite integration.
- Follow disciplined change management: test changes affecting financial or inventory data in the sandbox first, and ensure changes are documented and reversible.
Improve processes and systems
- Review and document operational procedures, building a practical SOP library.
- Identify recurring issues, eliminate bottlenecks and introduce improvements that make everyday work easier.
- Explore automation and AI tools to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
Coordinate supplier operations
- Follow up on purchase orders, coordinate delivery schedules and resolve goods-in discrepancies alongside the Stock Controller.
- Identify recurring supplier issues and escalate quality, reliability or packaging concerns to the Product team, which owns commercial supplier relationships.
What you'll bring
Essential
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in operations management within distribution, logistics, wholesale or e-commerce, including experience leading frontline teams.
- Hands-on ERP administration experience, ideally with NetSuite or a comparable system such as SAP, Odoo, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience configuring roles, workflows and data, rather than simply using an ERP system.
- A process-first mindset, with the ability to document, standardise and improve the way things work.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Confidence working in a changing environment, making decisions and adapting as you learn.
Useful, but not required
- Experience with NetSuite Ship Central, Advanced Inventory, demand planning, SuiteQL or saved searches.
- Experience in European B2B wholesale or distribution.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, carrier integrations or shipping operations.
- An interest in cannabis accessories, CBD or vaping products.
Benefits
What we offer
- €45,000–€54,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience.
- A 10% bonus of base salary, paid upon achievement of the company's annual target.
- 8% holiday allowance, paid monthly.
- 20 days of annual leave plus Dutch public holidays, with one additional day per year of service, up to five extra days.
- Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
- A full-time, permanent position in Almere, with some flexibility.
- An autonomous role with genuine ownership in a friendly international team where your contribution is visible.
