You will exercise the rights and obligations as the legal owner of the affiliated companies (about 90) in the Europe region on behalf of Siemens Energy and represent the interests of the shareholder function to the management of the companies. The team consists of around 7, 8 people (shareholder controllers, legat, tax, accounting, support). Because of the workload and the projects Siemens is looking for extra capacity to help M&A activitities, divestments and special projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• Assume the rights and obligations as the legal owner of the affiliated companies in the Europe region on behalf of Siemens Energy
• Represent the interests of the shareholder function to the management of the companies
• Design and optimize corporate shareholding structures and implement them in practice in a goal-oriented manner
• Analyze financial key figures and balance sheet structures, develop proposals to optimize the capital structures of the companies, and ensure compliance with guidelines for dividend payments
• Participate as a leader of relevant workstreams in carve-out and integration projects, as well as the corporate implementation of foundations, mergers, and liquidations within the framework of M&A projects
• Actively shape the digital transformation of the shareholder function within Siemens Energy
What You Bring:
University degree or equivalent experience in business administration or similar fields
Experience in shareholder controlling and reporting, preferably also in a commercial operational function in exchange with regional units
Experience in project and process management for small to medium-sized projects, as well as first experience in leading (virtual) teams
Experience in implementing digital financial processes
Full Business proficiency in English. Basis knowlegde of Dutch and German is a plus.
You have a background in corporate finance, managing board changes, and managing contractual and legal documents (governance).
You have strong communication skills, are able to collaborate effectively across disciplines, and manage project progress.
You are hands-on; you are the main driver of the projects you are responsible for!
