The Technical Competence for Work Instructions team within Development & Engineering (D&E) supports colleagues across ASML by developing standards, processes, and learning solutions related to procedure writing. Because the team works closely with many business areas, its work has a broad and visible impact throughout the organization. As part of an ongoing effort to improve the training experience for employees, we are looking for a student to help create engaging and effective learning materials. In this Internship, you will combine creativity, collaboration, and learning design to make a meaningful contribution.
Your assignment
As an intern, you will support the development of modern and engaging training solutions for a diverse audience. You will work together with subject matter experts to improve existing learning materials and create new content that supports knowledge sharing across ASML. This internship offers hands-on experience in training design, video production, and stakeholder collaboration. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Review training materials and recommend improvements from a learner-focused perspective.
- Develop and update digital learning content and training modules.
- Support the preparation of training materials and supporting resources.
- Record and edit videos that enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and structure information.
- Apply creative approaches to improve training engagement and effectiveness.
- Contribute to projects that strengthen the overall training landscape within ASML.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
- Are pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- Have a strong interest in training design and learning content development.
- Are analytical and able to understand and structure complex information.
- Are creative and detail-oriented when developing learning experiences.
- Have basic knowledge of video recording, video editing, or digital content creation.
- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
Other requirements you need to meet:
- You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship, and you are at least 18 years old at the start of the internship;
- If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement);
- You attach your cover letter with a clear motivation on why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
- You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your application shows the willingness to relocate.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
