Facility Management Internship | Puttershoek | €500-€700 | Start: September 2026

Are you looking for an internship where no day is the same and where you can truly be part of the operation? At Arvato, you will support the Facility team with a wide range of activities, from maintenance and technical installations to supplier coordination, workplace management, and improvement projects on-site. You will gain real responsibilities, collaborate with different departments, and discover how facility management plays a key role within an international logistics organization.

YOUR INTERNSHIP ASSIGNMENT
During this internship, you will become an active member of our Facility Department. You will work closely with the Facility Manager, Facility Coordinator, technicians, and front office colleagues. Together, the team ensures that the entire site operates safely, efficiently, and according to the highest service standards.

Because Arvato works with multiple external service providers, communication and coordination play a major role within the department. You will learn how to manage relationships with suppliers, monitor service quality, and support operational continuity within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting daily facility operations across the site
• Assisting with building maintenance coordination such as HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety
• Helping manage assets and equipment management (conveyors, dock doors, compactors, and fleet-related equipment)
• Supporting soft services such as cleaning, catering, reception, and workplace management
• Assisting with procurement, invoice checks, and vendor administration
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and facility-related projects
• Joining meetings with stakeholders and external service providers
• Monitoring KPIs and supporting performance reporting
• Taking ownership of smaller projects and improvement opportunities

This internship is designed to give you a complete picture of facility management within an international logistics organization. You will rotate across different activities and functions to fully understand how the department operates as one integrated team.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for an enthusiastic HBO or MBO student who is eager to learn and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. You do not need to know everything yet, motivation and curiosity are most important to us.

You recognize yourself in the following:

• You are following an HBO or MBO education in Facility Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• You have a proactive and hands-on mindset
• You are eager to learn and not afraid to take initiative
• You are communicative and enjoy working with different stakeholders
• You are organized and able to keep overview in a dynamic environment
• You are flexible, curious, and solution-oriented
• You are available on-site for 3 to 5 days per week
