Our Dutch brand WijnSpijs has been doing this since 2013 and now runs events across the Netherlands and Belgium. Table6 carries the same standards into the UK and Germany. Same selection criteria, same format, adapted city by city.

Your mission is simple: to help us create unforgettable food & wine experiences for guests all over the Netherlands 🇳🇱, Germany 🇩🇪 and the UK 🇬🇧.

At Table6, every event is about connecting people through great food, good wine, and real hospitality. As our Junior International Event Manager, you’ll make sure that everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, and that our guests have the best time ever.

Tasks

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

• Help organize our WijnSpijs Walks and Restaurant Tours, from planning to execution.
• Guest Experience: Be in touch with guests, restaurants, and partners, both in Dutch and English.
• Customer Journey: Learn how to make every event better by improving the experience from start to finish.
• On-site Action: Attend weekly Tours (and bring a friend or family member to join the fun!).
• Creative Input: Assist with social media, content ideas, and marketing support.
• Work closely with our small, fun team in Haarlem, where there’s always something going on: from coffee chats to Friday drinks.
• Assist the sales team by helping identify new partner restaurants and supporting ongoing collaborations.

Requirements

We’re searching for someone who’s:

• ✨ Studying Hospitality, Event Management or Business at HBO level
• 💬 Fluent in Dutch & English (spoken and written)
• 📅 Available full-time for 4 months minimum
• 💡 Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
• 🍷 Passionate about food, wine, and guest experience
• Organized, flexible, and a real team player
• 🌞 Okay with working the Sunday (Hello Tours!)

WijnSpijs started in the Netherlands in 2013. The format has not changed since: six restaurants, six dishes, one afternoon, every dish served with a pairing to match. Guests show up, we handle the rest. Restaurants earn their place on a lineup; they never buy it. That discipline is why the brand has held its position in the Dutch market for over a decade, and why we can make a promise most companies in this category cannot: you will want to recommend at least four restaurants from your event.

Table6 and The RestaurantTour carries the same standards into the UK, Germany, and beyond. Same selection criteria, same format, adapted city by city.

That expansion is where we are now, and it is the interesting part of the work. In the Netherlands we have 13 years of relationships and reputation to draw on. Abroad we are building both from nothing: finding the restaurants worth knowing in a city we do not know yet, convincing chefs and owners that we take their craft as seriously as they do, and proving that the audience we bring actually returns. Everyone here works on a young business with a proven model, which means real responsibility early and few processes to hide behind.

You work in our HQ office in Haarlem or remote. The team is small, international, and works across the Dutch, British, and German markets.

Three values decide how we work. Love it, and own it: you care about the outcome and you carry it to the end. Be curious, ask why: we would rather have the awkward question asked early than a bad assumption found late. Keep the main thing the main thing: we are deliberate about where attention goes.
